Downloading E-Books: Home

Introduction

Seneca Libraries provides access to thousands of e-books and e-audiobooks -- over 586 000 at last count.

EBSCO and Ebook Central from ProQuest allow users to download a temporary copy of some titles to a computer for viewing or listening offline, often for the optional purpose of transferring that copy, also temporarily, to certain other mobile devices.

This guide is a summary of this functionality. Use the tabs above or the links to the right to find out how to download from these platforms.

Note that not all titles in these collections may be downloaded, and that the formats and functionality offered may not work with your particular computer or mobile device.

If you are a Seneca student, faculty member, or staff member and have any questions about downloading e-books, please contact librarytechhelp@senecacollege.ca
