Our Commitment

It is the commitment of Seneca Libraries to make every reasonable effort to facilitate use of the collections and services by all library users.

Accessible Library Services

Assistance is available from library staff for:

Emergency Evacuation Procedures

All building evacuations will occur when an alarm sounds and/or upon notification by Security, an Emergency Response Team member, an emergency response personnel, a campus safety designate and/or a fire warden. Refuge Sites. Identified by a red sign that says refuge site, have been established for those requiring assistance in the event of a building evacuation.

CNIB Library Partners Program

CNIB Library offers people with print disabilities (visual, physical, or learning) access to CNIB resources free-of-charge. Of particular interest to the Seneca community is the new career and job hunting resources available through the CNIB Library in audio and braille. You can browse thousands of titles, available for download or home delivery, on the CNIB Library website.
