SPARK sessions ...

SPARK lightbulbSPARK stands for Short Practical Academic Research Knowledge sessions!

Seneca Libraries' SPARK sessions provide faculty and staff the opportunity to learn about scholarly research and library resources. SPARK sessions are offered on request in a variety of delivery options to fit your busy schedule.

This version, a self-directed e-learning module, is provided for those who missed the original face-to-face presentation, and also for those who wish to keep up-to-date with changes in this developing field.

Introduction

Though eBooks have been around for more than 20 years, current updates have made them simpler for both faculty and students to use. In this module, you'll learn what's new in the area of eBooks and eTextbooks, where you can find them and how to incorporate these new and often free resources into your courses.

Learning Outcomes

  • Acquire knowledge about eBook offerings of Seneca Libraries.
  • Acquire knowledge of the many access points for discovering Seneca Libraries' eBook holdings.
