SPARK sessions ...
SPARK stands for Short Practical Academic Research Knowledge sessions!
Seneca Libraries' SPARK sessions provide faculty and staff the opportunity to learn about scholarly research and library resources. SPARK sessions are offered on request in a variety of delivery options to fit your busy schedule.
This version, a self-directed e-learning module, is provided for those who missed the original face-to-face presentation, and also for those who wish to keep up-to-date with changes in this developing field.
Welcome
Students can benefit from help with MLA, APA, and academic honesty in almost all of their classes. Library cartridges are an easy way to integrate these resources into your MySeneca course without having to find and add resources individually.
Seneca Libraries created this self-directed online learning module for faculty to learn more about Library Cartridges and how to import them.
This tutorial was based on the in-person SPARK session that was offered by Seneca Libraries in spring 2010
To begin the tutorial click on the "Step 1: About Cartridges" tab above.
Learning Outcomes
By the end of this e-learning module you will be able to:
- Define cartridges
- Locate library cartridges
- Import a library cartridge
- Troubleshoot cartridges and online library quizzes
How to use this module
To navigate through this module, use the tabs above (Step 1: About Cartridges, Step 2: About Library Cartridges, etc.).
When you have completed step 1-3, see the Bonus tab to see how to create cartridges yourself!
